Adopt a Family

Our Goal

Helping families get back on their feet…one child at a time.

What started out as a small group of friends helping families in need over the holidays has grown into a long-term, charitable venture as we’ve joined Project 52. Our goal is that through this venture we will now be able to help our adopted families not only during the holidays, but 52 weeks a year.

We’ve always thought that every child should be able to experience Santa, and in previous years we’ve been lucky enough to not only help Santa put gifts under the trees of families in need, but have also raised money for basic necessities such as food, gas, and household supplies, car repairs, rent assistance and daycare assistance.

We host a fundraiser in early November (usually the first Friday) of each year to raise money with the goal of keeping a fund ready and available when families in need are identified. We hope that you will consider lending your support to our charitable cause. With your support since 2009 we have helped 24 families that include 93 individuals and raised over $92,000 for the program.

If you know of any families that could use a hand please or are interested in donating towards the program contact Adopt A Family Chairperson Shelby Klinkenborg at [email protected]

If you would like to support the Adopt a Family Program, there are several ways to help:

  • Attend one of our events or make a donation in the form of cash or goods for silent auction or raffle

As a 501c3 charitable organization your donations to Project 52 are tax deductible and may also be eligible for a company match. With no paid staff and all administrative expenses covered by the board of directors, 100% percent of donations to Project 52 go directly to the family or program of your choosing.

Thank you for you consideration and we hope to see you at one of our events soon!
